Scheduling algorithms for shared-fiber-delay-line optical cell switches

Abstract

In a shared-fiber-delay-line (shared-FDL) optical cell switch, delayed cells must be assigned delay values and FDL routes before entering the switch. We propose three new cell scheduling algorithms for the shared-FDL optical cell switches.
