Abstract

The operation characteristics of cusptron tubes are studied. The authors have evaluated the functional dependences of the saturation efficiencies on the beam energy, and on the ratio of the outer and inner radii of the tubes for three different cyclotron harmonics, i. e. , N//0 equals 8, 10 and 12, and for both pi -mode and 2 pi -mode operation.
