Soliton dynamic structure factors in a planar ferromagnetic chain

    Abstract

    For a planar ferromagnetic chain in a transverse magnetic field we present calculations for the soliton contribution to the longitudinal and transverse dynamic structure factors. We treat the solitons as a dilute relativistic ideal gas. Criteria for the breakdown of the continuum sine-Gordon model are discussed.
