Research output: Contribution to journalReview articlepeer-review

Abstract

The multidisciplinary field of Tissue Engineering (TE) brings together materials engineering, manufacturing engineering, and biology. One of the aims of TE is to deliver laboratory-grown tissues to either fully or partially replace organs and tissues that are diseased or malfunctioning due to genetic causes or aging, as well as those that were removed either due to surgical correction or trauma.
