Abstract

This paper presents a spectral-domain analysis of an infinite array of printed dipoles covered with an ideal UCS. The results of impedance and scan characteristics of the array obtained using the ideal model are compared and contrasted with those from a rigorous analysis of a real integrated-grating antenna. The results demonstrate the accuracy and practical range of validity of the ideal model.
