Abstract

Books-including texts, monographs, and collected works-on pattern recognition by machine are listed. In addition, books on other pertinent material such as clustering, discriminant analysis, and perception have been included to the extent that they are pertinent to automatic classification. A subjective clustering and description of the books is provided which readily identifies the books in any particular area of pattern recognition.
