Superconducting cosmic strings in models with spontaneously broken family symmetry

    Abstract

    It is shown that superconducting cosmic strings with some specific properties naturally exist in models of spontaneously broken family symmetry. Superconductivity may be of both types - bosonic and fermionic. There exists a possible mechanism of string conservation.
