Abstract

The 2020 International Conference on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (ICUAS’20) was held from September 1–4, 2020 in Athens, Greece. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the Organizing Committee to delay the conference from June to September 2020. A full three-day highly technical program was composed. The technical program included 39 technical sessions: autonomy, path planning, swarms and networked swarms, UAS control architectures, navigation, sense and avoid systems, sensor fusion, UAS applications, mini- and micro-UASs, manned/unmanned aviation, UAS testbeds, energy-efficient UASs, technology challenges, levels of safety, risk analysis, bioinspired UASs, airspace control, airspace management, and air vehicle operations.
