Abstract

Extensive numerical simulations of SU(3) lattice gauge theory on such thermodynamical observables as energy density, pressre and the quantity Δ= (ε{lunate}-3P) T4 have been performed on the Columbia supercomputers While drawing the complete pictures of these quantities in a wider range of couplings, particular attention has been devoted to studying their behavior near the phase transition point on lattices 163 × Nt and 243 × Nt (Nt=4,6) with very high statistics.
