    Abstract

On the basis of the theory of I. M. Lifshits the author has analysed the adsorption of a model homopolymer. It is shown that the attraction of the monomers to the surface may lead not only to adsorption of the globule or coil but also to the appearance of a new phase-a discshaped globule without a Fringe, all the monomers of which are stuck on the surface. A diagram of the states of the two-dimensional polymer chain is constructed.
