Time-dependent Hartree-Fock calculations for 16O + 16O reactions

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Head-on collisions between 16O nuclei are treated in the Time-Dependent Hartree-Fock (TDHF) approximation. Reactions at center-of-mass bombarding energies of 2 and 8 MeV per nucleon result in fusion-fission processes with strong internal excitation of the fragments.
