In immediate denture patients, when esthetic changes in the positions of the anterior teeth are desired, the lack of a clinical evaluation of the trial dentures is a significant disadvantage. 5 In this clinical report, a technique is described that allows the esthetic try-in of the maxillary anterior artificial tooth arrangement before the extraction and completion of an immediate maxillary denture. This procedure provides a patient who needs an immediate denture the opportunity to observe the arrangement of the artificial anterior teeth before the final processing and insertion of the denture. Thus, one of the major disadvantages of immediate denture therapy is overcome.
