Abstract

While it is an honor to be asked to participate in this festschrift, it came as a shock to hear that Peter is retiring. One of us (Beck) has known Peter for many years, while the other (Roussias) has just met him. But no one can imagine Peter as being retired. Fortunately, he is not retiring, but just taking on more interesting research and shedding some boring academic tasks. We all know that Peter has discovered the fountain of youth, and, if anything, grows younger each year.
