Abstract
It is shown how an inexpensive variable-frequency ramp generator can be built with three transistors and one unijunction transistor. Amplitude of the output signal can be varied from 0 to 10 v. Linearity for frequencies between 5 and 10 kHz is within 0. 1%; between 10 and 50 kHz it is within 1. 0%. Power dissipation of the circuit is 1. 2 w.
