Abstract

Behavioral voice therapy can be helpful in rehabilitating the weak breathy voice quality often associated with vocal fold paralysis. Voice therapy has been found to be effective both as a stand-alone treatment and in conjunction with medical treatments. The remediation presented in this chapter will be based on the physiology of voice production and the associated rehabilitation procedures.
