Water behaves like a viscous fluid on the nano-scale

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Research conducted by scientists in the USA has shown that water exhibits very different properties when it is confined to channels less than 2 nm wide - behaving much like a viscous fluid with a viscosity approaching that of molasses.
